Philanthropy

Tau Sigma Phi recognizes breast cancer research and awareness as our official philanthropy!

Our sisterhood is dedicated to furthering breast cancer research and awareness in society.

The organization's Founding Mothers did not choose this philanthropy at random. Breast cancer had, in some way, touched each of their lives and as our sisterhood has grown, we have learned the many ways that breast cancer can affect our loved ones. This has fueled a relentless drive in each and every one of us to fight to make a difference and increase awareness.

Through a variety of monthly philanthropic events, Tau Sigma Phi raises money for breast cancer research and hopes to emphasize the importance of education and knowledge of the disease. Past events include Participating in CIBC's annual Run for the Cure, The Canadian Cancer Society's annual Relay for Life, appearing on the "A Channel" for their Women's Show and our annual pub night, Pretty in Pink, where ALL proceeds are donated to the cause.

We would like to thank any and all of our supporters who have contributed to our philanthropic successes. It is our hope to one day see a world without cancer.

In addition to our efforts dedicated to our official philanthropy, Tau Sigma Phi has stood behind numerous others. In the past, we have supported organizations such as OneMatch, The Royal Canadian Legion, and The Salvation Army among many other great causes. Although we are proud of our official philanthropy, we are glad to promote and stand by so many other great causes out there!
